The kidnapping

The next morning, at dawn, Alessia and her mother quietly left the house trying not to wake up the guard.
As they were leaving, they realized that they had forgotten their phones; so they went back to get them.
The door, which had remained open, closed violently due to a gust of wind, waking the keeper.

They decided to take two different paths, to confuse him.
