The new game

The First Throw of the Dice

Four high school students who live in Oxford, named Eric, Eleanor, Mark, and Caroline, are the school’s outcasts. No one considers them, and everyone always excludes them.

They meet at a book club and realize they have many things in common, and that is how they become best friends. This is the story of how their secrets are revealed and their lives are overturned.

Eric shouts, “Hey guys, where are you? I wait in front of the shop for twenty minutes… Hurry up!!” He huffs and he does not manage to finish the sentence when…

Mark replies, “Yes, we are getting there.”

The guys reach Eric and finally enter the antique shop upstairs, which a nice old couple manages. Once they are inside the shop…

They are immediately attracted by a very old board game. Fascinated by this game, they decide to buy it.

Once they arrive at Eric’s house, they go into his room and start playing. They sit down, they open it, and it is strange, different. They begin to roll the dice; the objective is to reach the end by overcoming different places and dragons that they must defeat. Mark rolls the dice first, but suddenly, an earthquake shock hits, and everything is dark.

They wake up in an ambiguous place. A loud noise breaks the silence, and one of the dragons observes them.
